Get some popcorn, 'cuz this'll take awhile.
"Thinking of you, wherever you are. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend. Now, I will step forward to realize this wish. And who knows: Starting a new journey may not be so hard. Or maybe, it's already begun."
Those of you who recognize this line should know it came during the ending of Kingdom Hearts 2. Thing is, when I heard it during my little off-time (due to being around my siblings playing it this past weekend), it made me think for awhile.
But, I'll get to that in a bit.
First of, yes, I have returned, and earlier than expected. Guess I just can't stay away that long, now can I? XD
Before going on, for everyone that wished me good tidings from last time, I thank you all deeply. No other words can be said to show my gratitude.
Now then...onto what caused my little episode last week. You all already knew about the little thing between that drunk idiot and my arm, so I'll skip that. Now what caused the rest of it, you might ask? The answer is a simple, yet stupid one: Online gaming. Seems Mario Kart Wii finally decided to show me the crappy side of online gaming, and without the help of hackers/cheaters either. Seems it's true that on Friday the 13th, almost everything can go wrong....and it did. Never-ending Red Shell barrages, getting zapped with lightning bolts while trying to go up the escalators in Coconut Mall just as soon as said escalators reverse direction (which forces you to turn around and go up the other one, thus pretty much losing the race), and people who are seriously just bullies and ram you over and over with a star or some other item, then purposely fall behind just so they can do it again. The list goes on, and because of all that...my fuse lit, I went kaboom like a bob-omb, and that's that.
But...recovery was gradual and imminent.
First off, the Wii is back in possession of my family where it belongs. My siblings sure are lucky they don't have to put up with the crap online gamers give sometimes. But I digress...I spent the weekend with my family, and after pizza, watching the Matrix Trilogy, and a Looney Tunes marathon (for once, Cartoon Network did something right), I was starting to feel better.
And yet not fully. Even after all of that, I still couldn't find myself to come back just yet. Until I picked up a game I hadn't touched in awhile...Disgaea.
Yep, the very game that breaks pretty much all barriers of standard RPGs. Over the past few days, I've been playing it and kicking demonic ass, and it just helped me feel all the more better.
Of course, other things have too, such as my cat. ^_^ She just has that kind of sense to know when I feel down and I need comfort. She's awesome like that.
So, now it's official. I'm back, and I'm drawing more too! In fact, look forward to a little piece of art later today.
Thanks everyone for reading...Now pardon me while I catch up on the 79 deviations and 30 messages left for me... : /
